Kangga Festival

May 13 Mogpog

Mogpog honours its patron San Isidro Labrador — patron of farmers — with the Kangga Festival, a parade of brightly decorated wooden sleds ("kangga") drawn by carabaos. It is a heartfelt thanksgiving for the harvest and a celebration of the town's rural, agricultural soul.
