Tres Reyes Islands

Gasan, Marinduque

Named for the Three Kings — Gaspar, Melchor and Baltazar — this trio of islands off Gasan is ringed by coral gardens and a protected marine sanctuary. Gaspar, the largest, holds a quiet fishing village and an old lighthouse, and local lore tells of a sunken galleon and a submerged cross divers still seek in these waters.

Best time to visit

March to May for calm seas and clear water.

How to get there

From Boac, travel ~30–45 min south to Gasan, then hire a banca (outrigger) from Pinggan or Tiguion for the 20–30 min crossing.
