A dazzling ribbon of white sand that emerges from the sea at low tide near Maniwaya Island, the Palad Sandbar is a favourite for photos, wading and starfish-spotting in its shallow, glass-clear water.
Best time to visit
Low tide on a clear day (check tide tables); March to May.
How to get there
Reached by boat from Buyabod Port (Santa Cruz), usually combined with a Maniwaya Island hop.
